  • Completely-in-the-Canal (CIC)

    • Small custom hearing instrument
    • Hardly visible in the ear canal
    • Best for moderate to severe hearing loss

  • In-the-Canal (ITC)

    • Custom hearing instrument
    • Easy to insert and remove
    • Excellent battery life
    • Best for moderate to severe hearing loss
    • Available with Bluetooth connectivity to use with an iPhone or Samsung Galaxy phone

  • Behind-the-Ear

    • Consists of a device behind the ear that is connected to a custom earmold via a clear plastic tube
    • Best for moderately-severe to profound hearing loss
    • Excellent battery life
    • Easy to insert and remove

  • CROS

    • Designed primarily for people with unilateral hearing loss (hearing loss in only one ear or hearing loss in one ear that is significantly worse than the “better ear”)
    • A transmitter is worn on the poorer ear that sends the sound signal to a hearing aid/receiver worn on the better ear
